(a) A semi-automatic washing machine contains two tubs, one for washing and the other for drying.
A fully automatic washing machine, here after the washing cycle is complete you have to put the washed clothes in the drying tub for the drying cycle. This is more of an entry level washing machine. Today, Both Tubs in both washing machine is the same but in fully automatic washing machine the clothes are almost 60 – 70 pc dry, whereas they are just rinsed in semi automatic machines
(b) Semi automatic machines require manual intervention in the controls. These are usually the twin tub machines. After the clothes are washed in one tub, they need to be transferred to the second tub for spinning.
(c) Semi-automatic machines does not need a continuous water connection. And In semi automatic machine user can control water usage as per necessity.
Where the fully automatic washing machine completely depend on the running water.
